How do we promote CESP as a Chapter?
APSE Chapters play an important role in promoting the Certified Employment Support Professional™ (CESP) credential. The CESP credential recognizes individuals who have demonstrated a sufficient level of knowledge and skill to provide integrated employment services to a variety of populations.
New and Newly Recertified CESP lists - Shared quarterly with Chapter President(s) / Vice President
- These lists include those who earned the CESP credential or were successfully recertified. It will include CESP names, email addresses, and dates certified. This data should not be automatically added to your email list.
- You may send no more than 3 invitations from the chapter to join over the 3 months. People need to OPT-IN vs. opt-out of emails.
- Please delete the previous list before you get a new one quarterly

Host An Exam!
Hosting an examination is a great way to bring test-takers together in one space, or to bring awareness to the credential! This opportunity is now available. If you want to host an exam, read the information on this article (linked here) then reach out to the CESP at cesp@apse.org.
Submit Activities for CESP Continuing Education Pre-Approval
Each chapter is allowed to submit one CESP Pre-Approval application each year for free. This is a benefit to chapters as you can then offer Continuing Education (CE) credits and market to CESP credential holders! Learn more about this process here.

On your chapter website, please make sure you reference the CESP Credential as an available resource for members and non-members to look into.

Highlight CESPs at Conferences and Events
Chapters can highlight CESPs by asking for a full list of CESPs before events. Share this in your promotional material or ask CESPs to identify themselves during the event!
